authors from the Whyte Dove Writer’s Group will be showcasing their books in
the library’s lobby beginning at 10 a.m.
At noon, Andy Skrzynski will present a short program sharing how he
began as a writer and how you can get started. Light refreshments will be
served, and the public is invited.
January is National “Get Organized” Month,
and the Quitman Public Library has a media display filled with ideas to help
you clear, or at least control, the clutter for the New Year.

Circle is Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 from 6 - 9 p.m.

If you are among the forty-five percent of
Americans made a New Year’s resolution, it is likely that you made one of the
top ten – to lose weight, eat more healthily, exercise more, stop smoking,
stick to a budget, save money, get more organized, be more patient, find a
better job and to just be a better person over all. Without a doubt,
information on any of these topics and more can be found at the Quitman Public
Library in the form of on-site print media and audiobooks, on OverDrive in
e-book format, or online in the library’s TexShare Databases. Stop in and check
it out.
Regular hours are Tuesday through Friday from
10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Call 903-763-4191 or visit our website
