September is also National Library Card Sign-up Month, so stop in and see what your library has to offer. Patron cards are available for those residents who can provide proof of residence in Wood County and photo identification.  A guardian must sign for children ages 5 - 17.

Photographers of all levels are invited to the “In-Focus Photography Club of East Texas” that now meets every 4th Monday in the library’s community room. The next meeting is Monday, Sept. 26, 2022. Meet other photographers, share ideas, and participate in photography-related events. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the 6:30 p.m. meeting and workshop.

Friends of the Library will meet at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, in the Shamburger Community Room, and the public is invited to this fun one-hour gathering of book lovers.
