Wood County Democrat – Quitman TX
March 16, 2016

Since 1911, our nation has recognized March as National Women’s History Month. Near the library’s checkout desk is a media display to honor many women who have shaped America’s history and its future through their public service and government leadership. March is also National Craft Month, so for hobbyists and do-it-yourselfers, the library now offers these TexShare® Databases: Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center, Home Improvement Reference Center, Small Engine Repair Reference Center. Call or stop by to learn more about these and many other databases.
Special thanks extend to Kay Robinson for her donation of a Time magazine subscription, and to Ken and Margo Massat for donating a one-year subscription to the Citizen magazine.
Patron cards are available for those residents who can provide proof of residence in Wood County and photo identification.  A guardian must sign for children ages 5 - 17.  Regular hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Call 903-763-4191 for more information or visit our website at www.quitmanlibrary.org.
