Quitman Public Library Notes by Delene H. Allen, Director

If you have any board games or outdoor lawn games just sitting around collecting dust, please consider donating them to the Quitman Public Library at 202 East Goode Street, Quitman.  Our summer reading theme is “Get Your Game on @ the Quitman Public Library,” and we hope to have plenty of games for everyone to play.  There are plans to have a regular game night this fall in the library’s community room.
Mark your calendar for Friday Night Bluegrass Acoustical Jam Fever on Friday, June 14, from 6 – 9 p.m.  Doors open at 5 p.m. for those who want to tune up or practice.  Acoustical musicians of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and listeners are welcome too. Refreshments are available, but feel free to bring anything you like.  For more information, call 903-952-8305 or 903-763-4191.
