Along with Valentine's Day, February marks American Heart Month, a great time to commit to a healthy lifestyle and make small changes that can lead to a lifetime of heart health. The Quitman Public Library is highlighting this with a selection of materials located near the front checkout desk.
The 2nd Friday Acoustical Music Circle is Feb. 9 from 6 - 9 p.m. in the library’s community room. Acoustical musicians of all ages and musical levels are invited to join in, and listeners are always welcome.
A special thanks extends to Jack Neel for his generous donation of a 1-year subscription to Air & Space magazine.
Patron cards are for Wood County residents with photo identification.  A guardian must sign for children ages 5-17.  Regular hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.  TexShare® Databases and OverDrive® services as well as wi-fi are always available 24/7. Call 903-763-4191 or visit our website at www.quitmanlibrary.org  and keep up with current events at www.facebook.com/quitmanpubliclibrary.

Knitting and crochet instruction class meets each Thursday 2 – 4 p.m. in the library’s main gallery. Students of all ages and skill levels may bring their own supplies and join the group for this free class.
