A representative from Workforce Solutions of
East Texas is at the Quitman Public Library each 1st Friday from 10
a.m. – 1 p.m. to assist job seekers. The next workshop is Friday, Apr. 5, 2019.
No appointment is necessary.
Virginia Hoffpauir and Rebekah Yeager invite you to free crochet and knitting
instruction each Thursday 2 – 4 p.m. in the library’s main gallery.
Story Time, designed for young readers and
home-schooled students, meets each Wednesday at 2 p.m. Lillian Gray plans an educational hour filled
with stories, crafts and plenty of fun. Upcoming events: Mar. 13 – Field Trip to Mineola Museum; Mar.
20 – “Meet the Mayor!”; April 27 – “Marching Orders!” Learning about our
military. Special thanks to Peoples Telephone – Quitman TX for funding and
sponsorship of this year’s crafts and activities.

Friends of the Quitman Public Library is an
active group of volunteers dedicated to the growth and improvement of the
