In
the lobby showcase is a collection of leather crafts by Bob Hibbard. Bob is also a huge fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs
who is best known for his creation of the jungle hero Tarzan®. Among the
interesting pieces in Bob’s collection is a Bowie knife that commemorates the
100th anniversary of Edgar Rice Burroughs' 1912 publication of Tarzan of the
Apes. Because no casing comes with this knife, Bob has crafted customized
sheaths that he donates when he attends Tarzan® trade auctions. Bob, and his
wife Becky, live in Quitman TX.
