Wood County Democrat – Quitman TX
July 6, 2016
July is
National Anti-boredom month, and what better place to combat boredom than at
your local library? In addition to being
a comfortable, quiet place to read and study, the Quitman Public Library has a
great deal to offer. It houses nearly
30,000 bestsellers, series books, audio books, reference materials,
genealogical resources, biographies, movies, magazines, regional daily and
weekly newspapers, trade journals, encyclopedic databases, and much more. There
are countless full-text books available online from OverDrive® when you
download the app. Patrons also have access to high-speed wireless Internet 24/7.
The 2nd
Friday Acoustical Jam is Friday, July 8, 6 - 9 p.m. Acoustical musicians of all
ages and musical levels are invited to join in, and listeners are always
welcome. Refreshments will be available.
