The
2nd Friday Acoustical Music Circle is Feb. 14 from 6 - 9 p.m. in the library’s
community room. Acoustical musicians of all ages and musical levels are invited

QPL Story Time meets each Wednesday at 2 p.m. Terri Bennett plans an educational hour
filled with stories, crafts and plenty of fun. Upcoming themes will focus on Black
History Month and leap year. The program is designed for young readers and

Friends
of the Quitman Public Library invites everyone to its next meeting on Tuesday, Mar.
10, 2020 at noon in the Shamburger Community Room. Friends is an active group
of volunteers dedicated to the growth and improvement of the library.
Wood
County TX Genealogical Society meets at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. The
group meets at one of the local restaurants for fellowship prior to the meeting,
and anyone is welcome to attend. Contact David Gilbreath at 972-977-7988 for

Rebekah Yeager and Virginia Hoffpauir invite students of all ages and skill levels
to bring their own supplies and join the Quitman Knitter’s Group for free instruction
each Thursday 2 – 4 p.m. in the library’s front lobby area.
Adult GED support services are available
for students who have registered online at www.ged.com. Assistance in
reading/writing skills and math is available in the public computer area on
Tuesdays and Fridays during library hours.
