Summer
Reading 2026 “Unearth a Story” is scheduled for the month of June with
programming designed for ages PreK – 10yrs. Stop by the library and pick up
your play card. Entertainment programs scheduled: June 3rd “Unearth
a Surprise!” with Wood County Metal Detector Club and discover coins, small
dinosaur bones and other surprises; June 10th “Jurassic Magic!” with
Mike Corry, Master Magician; June 17th “Make Japanese Origami!”
Japanese Origami Artist, Jojo Cain, will show us how to fold an array of
dinosaurs; June 24th “Dinosaur Movie Time!” with free popcorn and
drinks; June 26th “Jon McDermott Concert and Prize Awards!” Jon will
stop by on his tour for a special performance just for us. His tour is
sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts.
Earning a General Educational Development (GED) certificate is easier when you have a professional tutor who can guide you through the process. Tutoring is available each Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m. Contact Sara de la Rosa at saradelarosa@outlook.com.
QPL
Knitting & Crochet Class regularly meets each Thursday 2 – 4 p.m. at the
library. Students of all ages and skill levels are invited to join this growing
group.
