January
is National “Get Organized” Month, and the library has a media display filled with ideas to
help you clear or at least control the clutter. If your resolution is to
exercise, diet, or just be a better person, this is the place to find the
information you need to be successful.
The public is invited to a “Meet the
Candidate” forum on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. in the Thurman Shamburger
Community Room. This event is hosted by the Lake Country Republican Club.
The library appreciates those businesses in
our community who offer routine services at reduced or no charge throughout the
year. Special thanks go to Budget Business Systems, Bulldog Computer, City
National Bank, Haskett Electric, Hog Computer, Mercy Mall, NetHealth, Peoples,
Pott’s Feed Store, Ray Roberts Service, SuddenLink, Wood County Electric
Cooperative, and the Wood County Monitor.
Hours are Tuesday
through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit the library’s website at www.quitmanlibrary.org and keep up with current events
at www.facebook.com/quitmanpubliclibrary.
