August is National Golf Month, so let your first swing be by the Quitman Public Library to check out our large collection of some of the best books and DVDs on golf.

The 2nd Friday Acoustical Jam is Friday, Aug. 9, 2019. Musicians of all ages and musical levels are invited to join in from 6 – 9 p.m. in the library’s community room. There will be an open mic set-up for those who wish to perform. Listeners are always welcome, and you never know when a well-known musician may surprise us with a visit.   Quitman Public Library joins libraries across the country to remind parents that the most important school supply of all is a library card!

Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit our pages at www.quitmanlibrary.org and www.facebook.com/quitmanpubliclibrary.  Wi-Fi is available 24/7.
