The public is invited to join the Wood County Metal
Detecting Club on Monday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the library’s Thurman
Shamburger Community Room.

Knitting and crochet instruction class meets each Thursday 2
– 4 p.m. at the library. Students of all ages and skill levels are invited to
join this growing group. Classes are free.
The Wood County TX Genealogical Society invites family
researchers to meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the
library’s Shamburger Community Room. The next meeting is July 21.
Notary service is available at the library during regular
business hours, but to guarantee an appointment, call 903-763-4191.

identification and proof of residence in Wood County. A guardian must sign for
children ages 5 – 17. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6
