On
Thursday, October 31st, many from our community turned out to enjoy an evening
of Halloween fun at Gov. Jim Hogg Park in Quitman TX.
On behalf of the City of Quitman
and the Greater Quitman Area Chamber of Commerce, we want to thank each of you
who attended this year’s Halloween event: A Haunting at Hogg Park. We appreciate those who helped plan the
event, those who sponsored activities, those who volunteered to set up booths
and attractions, and all who came out to share an evening of Halloween fun.
Special thanks goes to Brookshire’s
– Quitman, Sonic, Dairy Queen, Peoples Telephone, Quitman-Lake Fork Kiwanis,
Church on the Rock, Bank Texas, Living Waters Fellowship, Brand New Church,
Hainesville Volunteer Fire Department, Quitman Rotary Club, Wood County
National Bank, Guiding Light Too, First Baptist Church – Quitman, the Lutheran
Church, Judith Sanders, Pam Riley, Dru Woods, Quitman Police Department, and Friends
of the Quitman Arboretum.
The event was, once again, a
great success and we hope all participation enjoyed it as much as we did.
